Skateschool Beginners in East London
Learn to skate with Skatefresh’s 3-week beginner course:
Where? Group courses will commence at the Canada Water site (here) and move according to group ability and course development across the 3 weeks.
When? Weekend daytimes and Monday/Tuesday evenings all the way into 2009 (dates below)
How much? £75

You start at the beginning with safety, efficient stopping and basic turning skills. You will soon progress with more speed and more fitness orientated skating, dealing with slopes, downhills and emergency stopping. All so that you’ll have experience and skills to get through a range of situations safely and under control.
To book, please email matt@skatefresh.com with your name, phone number and which course you wish to book on. Payment and other details will be sent to you. If booking less than 48 hours before a course start date, please call or text Matt on 07766 425 791.
If you have to miss a lesson in your 3 week course then it is your responsibility to have a ‘catch up’ private lesson before your next class, at your cost. Ideally, you need to arrange this with the instructor teaching your course, by calling them directly. If you fail to do this you will not be able to ‘transfer’ your remaining course fees onto other classes.
(When you email, mention if you’re a decathlon skate shopper - then you’re entitled to attend the 3, 2-hour course sessions. Also, as a course group member, you’ll recieve Skatefresh’s newsletter and mailouts, keeping you informed of all that is Skatefresh…)
You will need
1. Skates (recreational skates with a heel brake).
2. Padding (knee and wrist) - helmets are optional but recommended.
3. To be padded up and ready to skate by the beginning of the class time (this takes usually 10-15 minutes and is not part of the lesson).
