Sunday 6th July 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Start at the very beginning with safety stuff, gentle stride and of course stopping (using your heel brake). Then move onto turns, how to make it all look smooth and how to go faster (and get some fitness from your skating).

Adult Improver (one-off) session (all levels but not complete beginners).
Sunday 6th July, 3.30pm - 5.30pm £20
Heel brakeing will be developed so that you can stop downhills and in emergencies, but some alternative stopping methods will be taught (T-stop). Speed technique, fitness and turns will also be covered so that it all starts to look good.

Kids Club Brighton 6-10yrs
Sunday 6th July, 12.00pm - 1.15pm. £10
These fun filled group classes are suitable for kids aged 7-11 of any ability level. Using games and rolling activities we will guide your child through the basic skills of inline skating, ensuring they have lots of fun and plenty of movement. We will focus on skate safety, stopping methods, and giving them a variety of exercises to support their learning.

Mummy Buggy Skate
(Skating mums with kids in pushchairs)
This year Skatefresh launches its new ‘Mummy Buggy Skate’ fitness class for inline skaters with children in buggies or pushchairs. Learn something new, have fun, no prior skating experience necessary (but fine if you can already skate), get back into shape while enjoying fresh air and exercise without the need for childcare. Full beginner instruction is available at every class. Booking essential!

When?
Tuesday mornings 10am-11.15am £10 (starting 2nd April 2008)
Please call or email to book.
What is it about?
Each session starts slowly and develops your skating stride, stopping, and turning skills, all with your child and buggy. A special on-skates abdominal workout provides core strengthening (and the end of jelly-belly) while the skating is low impact on your joints but high cardiovascular for your lungs and heart. The session ends with stretching (those leg/butt muscles) and a cool down. Come to your first class without your child but with the buggy so you acquire the basics of skating with your buggy before introducing your child to the fun.
