I started skating in a small way at a very young age and returned to it with Asha and skatefresh’s help. I love skating in London, it’s accessible and it has a thriving social scene. Every time I skate I learn something new, normally from someone who has just (st)rolled up and offered a kind word or two. Not something you get amongst most Londoners.
After a very busy season in 2008 teaching in London, 2009 sees the consistent development of Skatefresh in East London; mostly near to Canada water and Decathlon and after running the London marathon last year, I’m having a year of training and running shorter races and NO MARATHONS… You might see me running in Hyde Park near the Serpentine as well as Skating. I must be mad, but it keeps me sane. If that makes any sense??
My big thing this year is to complete a sprint distance Triathlon and as a relative non swimmer that’s gonna be a big deal.. Keep em crossed for me LOL :)
I’m always available in East london; Including Greenwich, Dulwich and Crystal Palace Park, nr Canada Water and of course in Hyde Park and at the Albert Memorial, also now there’s the option of evening lessons close to Hurlingham down on the river near Parson’s Green, mail me for more info… :)
