Help I’m A Beginner

Dont worry, you’re in safe hands. Learn to skate at Skatefresh where we will transform your first shaky steps into confident strides and before you know it you will be strutting your funky rollerblade stuff down Serpentine Road. All our instructors are ICP qualified and have a wide experience of teaching how to skate on different levels. You have several options as a Gumbie (skate lingo for beginner):

We also offer 3 week Skateschool for Improvers. Beginners can’t stop well and want to start learning to skate from the beginning. Improvers can stop a bit but maybe not in all circumstances such as high speeds, down hills etc. That’s a good basic guide to which level you are.
If you’re still unsure check out the ‘What level am I page’
